 Some Pokemon can evolve only through happiness, however, the evolution process does not solely depend on the happiness stat. To trigger the evolution, the Pokémon must achieve maximum happiness along with fulfilling other specific conditions, without the need for leveling up. If your Pokémon has already reached maximum happiness, you must decrease its happiness by allowing it to faint in a wild battle, and then increase its happiness back to the maximum level.
